Apparently It's Launch Day!

UPDATE: AND THE WINNER IS . . . ELIZABETH!
It's Launch Day at ThatCarolJones.com and that is so full of awesome goodness I can't stand it! This day has been in the works for months and it's finally here!

I hope you'll take the time to click the links to my other blogs and visit each one today.  There are special giveaways on each blog, and I know you won't want to miss out on all the greatness you'll find there!

Normally on this blog you'll find "Apparently." It's a parenting blog full of real life stories from a mom who's been there done that and now is doing it all over again!

But today is a day of celebration so I'm just celebrating and giving stuff away!

On "Apparently" I'm giving away my favorite parenting book ever.

I love it because the author starts off with a story that reflects that sometimes we aren't great parents.  And the best part of the story is that his kids are really great adults (I've met them . . . went to church with one of them), so I know his parenting wisdom is solid.

If you want to be entered to win this fun package, all you have to do is follow this blog, leave me a comment that includes a burning parenting question you might have, and then pretty please with sugar on top tweet, post and pin this blog so others will find out about its goodness and follow me too!

Happy Launch Day! And thanks for stopping by!
(And Zack Jones, thank you for your tireless work to make this happen!)

  3. I'm thrilled for you! This is awesome and I can't wait to soak up all that you have to give us! OK, here's my questions: How do you encourage teens today in this Y generation to be hard workers when most kids have an entitlement mentality. (This is very evident in employees and I want to encourage my kids NOT to be this way). :) I'm celebrating with you friend... Katherine

    2. I'm looking forward to an answer :). Ok, here's another question for you...when your kids think they are "good" or even "that good" yet you see their work, performance, and results aren't all that they think it is. I know we can't focus on the performance but sometimes that is what shows the "hard work" or lack there of. I'm sure I'll have these coming...teenage years are interesting!

  4. I'd love to win, and I'm always looking for more advice :-) I'm sorry if this posts twice--my first one seems to have disappeared. My question is, "how can I minimize fighting/bickering between my 2 1/2 year old twins?" They are the best of friends and the worst of enemies, and it changes from minute to minute.

  6. Congratulations, Carol! So, my kids are grown, and the only burning (facetious, sort of)question I have is, "When does it END!?" And, of course, I know the answer is not until the Lord takes one of us home. ;) ~Becky J.

  8. What do you do when what you are doing isn't working and you can't figure out what else to do? Hmmmm.... And to your mom, I love it that she can't figure out to pin. Love it. But why would she want to win a parenting book? She's obviously not a raising kids anymore... (Hi That Carol Jones' mom!)

    2. I'll give you more info over a cup of coffee... I can just imagine your mom doing exactly that. Have you thought about posting some of her favorite parental sayings? (As I type this, I realize I have completely created what I imagine your mom to be in my mind. Don't worry, it's all good!)
